This Cape of Good Hope Heritage site is devoted to the conservation  and preservation of the Heritage of South Africa's Cape of Good Hope, the historic turning point and gateway between East and West. It concerns itself with the natural as well as cultural heritage of the most southern tip of Africa which is rich in linkages with many nations world wide.

The Cape of Good Hope is an international icon and brand name and capeofgoodhope.org is a valued domain which is available to NGO's, local Museums and non profit Heritage organisations, at no charge, for linking their sites to a destination of world wide significance.  Enquiries should be mailed to HB.Heritage@zsd.co.za.

• To provide a vehicle whereby our built and natural environment heritage can be conserved for the benefit of future generations.
• To formulate and develop sustainable conservation plans and to execute them to ensure long term heritage conservation for the benefit of the community, our Province and our Country.
• To strive to achieve the long term financial independence of heritage sites by means of innovative business plans to ensure their sustainable conservation.
• To lobby and negotiate with the appropriate authorities, and to form partnerships with other conservation bodies and government agencies to achieve our aims.
• To develop and exchange the necessary skills to accomplish the above.
